Founder & CEO Member: “The best way to predict your future is to create it.” This philosophy is reflected by the Founder & CEO of RMS - Larry Briand, a physical therapist in private practice since 1992. Larry founded RMS in 2000. “Somewhere, someone, sometime gave him the gift of being in private practice and his goal is to give the gift to other physical therapists who choose to become private practice owners.” “Our goal is to build a visionary company, a crown jewel in the industry, admired widely by its peers, built on core ideology and purpose.” Larry holds a Masters Degree in both physical therapy and education; along with being a certified licensed athletic trainer. Larry has been a leader in private practice physical therapy for more than 25 years. Larry is very active in the profession, taking a proactive stance with industry issues and healthcare trends. He has presented on local, regional and national levels. Larry believes patients will have direct access in their community to physical therapists in all environments. Physical therapists will be practitioners of choice and will hold all privileges of autonomous practice. Larry is an ambassador showing how “good business practices can parallel good medicine.” Guided by passion and commitment, Larry feels that RMS along with partners, will render evidence-based services and improve quality of life for society. Chief Operations Officer Member:
Connie Ziccarelli is the Chief Operations Officer for Outpatient Private Practice Physical Therapy. She has more than 18 years of healthcare management experience specializing in the physical and occupational therapy disciplines. Connie specializes in reimbursement strategies that affect therapists in private practice. Her expertise ranges from CPT coding to documentation strategies and corporate compliance. She is a member of the APTA’s Private Practice Section Administrator’s Council and Liaison to the Private Practice Section Annual Program Work Group Committee. Connie also is a regular author and contributor to a variety of rehab publications, including PPS Impact. Her presentations have been conducted at the APTA PPS conferences, APTA LAMP summit and the PPS Administrators’ Task Force Roundtable Luncheons. Connie enjoys working with people in all levels of an organization. Her passion for the practice management component of physical therapy has lead her to create and lead a team that provides physical therapists the peace of mind to practice their skills and enjoy the revenue of their work.

Clinical Growth & Development Director
Kevin Svoboda, PT studied Biology and Psychology at UW-LaCrosse and then attended Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science (RFUMS) in North Chicago, Ill. Kevin has been a provider of physical therapy and clinic mentoring throughout the United States, which has provided him with valuable insight into medical systems. Kevin regularly teaches therapists nationally on areas of practice growth and clinical core competencies. An actively practicing physical therapist, he also maintains a productive relationship with RFUMS by providing guest lectures and serving as vice president of the RFUMS College of Health Professions Alumni Association. Kevin also is the Membership Chair of the APTA’s Occupational Health Special Interest Group. Kevin has worked with RMS CEO and Founder Larry Briand, MS, PT, ATC since 1997. During this time, Kevin has gained experience in managing, opening and growing PT clinics and developing staff. Kevin is an asset to us all as he furthers his role in practice growth and development. Kevin maintains his Wisconsin and Illinois licenses in order to continue his involvement as a provider of patient care.
