Kevin Svoboda, PT studied Biology and Psychology at UW-LaCrosse and then attended the Chicago Medical School/Rosalind Franlkin University of Medicine and Science in North Chicago, IL. Kevin has been a provider of physical therapy and clinic consulting throughout the United States which has provided him with invaluable insight into medical systems.
Kevin Svoboda, PT, has been working with RMS CEO and Founder Larry Briand, MS, PT, ATC since 1993. During this time, Kevin has gained experience in managing, opening and growing PT clinics and developing staff in Illinois. Kevin’s education and professional work background brings to RMS and our affiliate clinics a level of expertise that will truly help to advance the knowledge of information between the clinics and practice management.
Kevin is an asset to us all as he furthers his role in practice growth and development. Kevin maintains his Illinois and Wisconsin license in order to continue his involvement as a provider of patient care.
Kevin’s free time finds him spending time with his family. Kevin enjoys an active lifestyle by kayaking, biking and playing volleyball.

David Graziano, PT, DPT, MTC of Miracle Earns OCS Credentialing. David Graziano, PT, DPT, OCS, MTC, will be honored at an awards ceremony in February of 2010 at the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) Combined Sections meeting (CSM) in San Diego, CA. Graziano will be honored for achieving distinction in the post graduate certification department by becoming certified as a Clinical Specialist in Orthopaedic Physical Therapy (OCS).
Dr. Graziano partnered with Rehab Management Solutions in June 2008 to open Miracle Physical Therapy and Rehab Specialists in Oak Creek, WI. Miracle has quickly become recognized as a center for excellence and a destination in SE Wisconsin for all injuries and ailments related to the spine and extremities because of David’s passion to continue his education.
Dr. Graziano met all the clinical requirements as well as two years of comprehensive training and preparation, and an extensive written exam to earn his OCS status in June. David explains “This training expanded my treatments, which are grounded in the best available scientific evidence…with the next step being fellowship training in manual therapy.”
Furthering his passion and quest for education in order to give his patients the very best treatments available, Dr. Graziano will begin his fellowship training in manual therapy adding to his Manual Therapist Certification (MTC) beginning in August of 2009. A fellowship in this area is granted through application and is “the highest level of clinical education available” according to Graziano.

Connie Ziccarelli and Marie Rasmussen will be participating in an information sharing workshop in June 2009 titled “Monday Morning Leadership; Chicken Soup for Managers & Supervisors”. This luncheon hosted by Russ Moen of Express supplies managers and supervisors useful knowledge and tools to enhance the leadership skills in a managerial role.
Teresa Van Aacken, owner of Elite Physical Therapy & Rehab Specialists added a new program to her growing clinic, Sportsmetrics. Teresa studied to become an expert in Sportsmetrics this spring in Cincinnati and has started enrolling local athletes in this new program.
Through teaching his peers at national seminars on the benefits of laser therapy, Jon was approached by the CEO of MultiRadiance (an industry leading laser therapy equipment company) to join their Medical Advisory Board. This unique laser therapy specialty has dramatically improved the wellness of his patients.
The Galva clinic will have a certified CPR instructor training his staff as well as the community in CPR rescue techniques.
Galva has finished building a major addition to their facility. In addition to the clinic, Galva PTRS is now also a fully furnished fitness facility for the community.

- Physical Therapy & Rehab Specialists recently honored two high school students with their exceptional performance and dedication to their school work. Sadie Schradle of mall and Monica Lutz of Clayton HS were each given $500 scholarships to continue their education.
- Nancy Nesbit, DPT, owner of Back-n-Action PTRS initiated a new, special program at a grade school in Park Falls
The “Kids on the Ball Program” replaces the traditional chair that students sit in, with a Physioball. By sitting on this ball the kids have the opportunity to experience new kinesthetic awareness, and have fun at the same time. This wonderful program has seen many unexpected improvements such as; improved handwriting skills and higher levels of focus and attention in the classroom. Nancy Nesbit, DPT has been working with an Idaho Podiatrist who develops ergonomically correct sandals for summer. Nancy will be fitting her patients with these, giving them one more method to live to their full performance.
